Nigerian singer, Brymo has taken a swipe at media directors and influencers for not promoting his music enough.
In a recent post, Brymo dubbed entertainment honchos ‘retards’. According to him, they failed to promote his work due to their lack of interest in alternative music.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday night, the ‘down’ singer called out music executives who have failed to acknowledge his talent and execution as an artiste.
Here is what he wrote, ‘I’m not underrated; it is industry media and influencers that are retarded.‘

The multi-talented artiste has been working independently since his departure from Choc Boys in 2013. He left the record label after his contract was breached, in 2016, he revealed that he lost the court case.
During an interview in 2016, Brymo revealed why he failed to win the court case against Choc Boys. Here is what he said, “we had the opportunity to iron it out in court but they fried it up. I don’t know what they did but they definitely spoke to the judge and spoke to the lawyers and scrapped the case, they are lawyers; they can do it.”
He has been unable to reclaim mainstream exposure since his hit single ‘Ara’ in 2011.
However, Brymo has maintained a cult following in the underground music scene. The alternative singer has been to garner modest popularity with the controversial single titled ‘Heya’. Brymo released the music video for the lead single “Heya”, which was filmed and directed by NVMB3R Production.
The video features Brymo exposing his buttocks while wearing a loincloth to hide his genitals.
