In December 2019, Cardi B was elated to be in Nigeria. She was even given several traditional names such as ‘Cadijat B’ and Chioma B, however, the latter struck perfectly.
One of the highlights of her visit to the country was the viral video of her demanding to eat Nigerian Jollof rice.
“Alright this 7 o’clock in the morning I want to go to the f**king hood. I want to see the real Nigeria. I want to eat the hotel food I want like real Nigerian food; all that fish, all that Nigerian Jollof rice, all that, all that,” she said.
She later went on to an orphanage home where she shared gifts among the orphans. Let’s not forget her strip club experience in Nigeria that almost shut down Instagram.
