Police officers caught on camera assaulting a lawyer in Anambra
The video of some police officers assaulting a lawyer in Onitsha,
Anambra state has surfaced online. In the video posted online
by a Facebook user, Ben Chuks Udoh, the policemen could be
seen charging at the lawyer and asking him “what was his
concern” in a matter that they were handling.

In other news, the Anambra State Police command have
apprehended the man who assaulted some Enugu Electricity
Distribution Company (EEDC) staff after being served an
electricity bill he claimed was outrageous at Umuoji road in
Ogidi area of Anambra state.
It was earlier reported that the man locked in and assaulted the
EEDC staff over move to disconnect his apartment from the
power grid.
A video update shared on social media revealed that the man
has been arrested by the police and will also be prosecuted
over charges bordering on assault.
