Star Nite Owerri is an Industrial nite Event, A brainchild Of DJ Saquo and Powered by #TeamStarNiteNg;

“On February 28th 2013 the very first edition of Starnite with 13 Performing Artistes”

 

THE OBJECTIVE

Star Nite Owerri aims to create an interactive platform for all the players in the entertainment Industry (Recording and Performing Artistes, Dancers, DJs Comedians, Compares) based in Owerri. It is our firm belief that the development and enhanced prospect of the entertainment Industry in Owerri hinged on positive, reflux interactivity amongst relevant players occasioned (in this instance) by a goal oriented, band driven Industry Nite event. Hence Our model DJ SAQUO’S Star Nite Owerri.

 

THE VISION

The immediate Vision of #TeamStarNiteNg is to Create an Entertainment Hub east of the Niger while promoting urban value through a purpose driven goal oriented professional band.

 

THE FRANCHISE

The franchise currently comprises an Industry Nite Event, An After Party, An Adapted Television Magazine Program and a Radio Magazine Program.

 

THE INDUSTRY NITE EVENT

Tagged Star Nite Owerri” The Industry Nite Event takes place on every last Friday of every Month at Valencia Lounge and Resorts, New Owerri. It features a Red Carpet Event and multiple performances from 14 performing artiste (Including invited guest performers) 4DJs, Comedians and Dance Groups.

 

THE AFTER-PARTY EVENT

Tagged “Star Nite AfterBurn, “The AfterBurn” is a celebrity studded rave bash hosted by DJ SAQUO once a month with an urban theme to it.

 

STAR NITE #THE TV SHOW

#THE TV SHOW is primarily an urban lifestyle magazine show designed around the Industry Nite Event aired on our YOUTUBE Channel , Local television stations in Owerri and satellite TV (SoundCity and MTV Base) It features exclusive backstage footage, Interviews and Personality Profiles.

 

STAR NITE #THE RADIO SHOW

#The Radio Show is an urban lifestyle magazine show designed around the Industry Nite Event but with a local content bias aired on local and regional radio stations in the area it features exclusive interviews, events performances artiste profiling and inside scope on the “AfterBURN” rave.

 

PROSPECT

We believe strongly in our ability to pull together human and allied resources to achieve our objective. As a team, we realize that sacrifice breeds quality and quality in turn is competitively market.

It is our goal to create and manage “THE” most successful industry event in eastern Nigeria. By creating enabling environment for interaction, optimizing human resources; talent and enshrining professionalism, we will catalyze the growth and development of the entertainment industry in our local. Entertainment is a viable business. To enable us achieve this end, we are presently working on the following advances on our franchise.

 

1. THE INDUSTRY NITE EVENT

To encourage and install a sense of belonging in our artistes, locally we have aggressively pursued a policy of extending invites to nationally establish performing artistes based in Lagos. We have a network of management partner and we are constantly on the lookout for new once to aid in the achievement of this objective.

 

2. THE AFTER-PARTY EVENT

An urban themed rave bash that celebrates entertainment not only as a business alternative but as a healthy, viable lifestyle in the Nigeria Urban culture calendar.

 

3. STAR NITE #THETVSHOW

We have concluded pre-production on a month (Starting in July) for a 30 minute magazine show inspired by the industry night event, to make it attractive to our quests and partners. It is our desire to have this program aired on SoundCity and MTV Base.

 

4. STAR NITE #THE RADIOSHOW

We have a dream and that dream requires an audience to come to fruition 4 episodes a month; the radio show will be ready by July the 1st. We are committed having this 15 minutes magazine show aired initially on local radio stations in Owerri ensuring mass appeal by making it broad based. Intellectually challenging and biased to local content, our target audience the urban spectrum; 18 to 68.

 

CONCLUSION

The Journey of a thousand miles starts with not just one step but with one carefully articulated and nurtured step bearing in mind that the knowledge of the distance is a product of insight. Our team; #TeamStarNiteNg has all that and more.
